**Method To Perform a T Test in Excel:**

**1. Checking and Loading Analysis Toolpak Add-In:**

If you want to activate the Analysis Toolpak, then you should choose the FILE tab and then choose Options. Now in the Options dialogue box, you should choose Add-Ins from the tabs which are on the left side of the screen. Here at the bottom of the window, you should choose the Manage drop-down menu and then choose Excel Add-ins. And then tap on Go button. Now, you should choose F-Test Two-Sample for Variances from the list and then tap on OK button. Here, you need to choose the Variable 1 Range and Variable 2 Range and then you need to set the Alpha. At this point, you need to choose a cell for the top left side of the output and it will fill 3 columns and 10 rows and then tap on OK button. You should view the F-Test results to check if there is a significant difference between the variances. It will give three important values: F, P(F<=f) one-tail and F Critical one-tail. If in case, you want to test for no difference between the means, then you should set the Hypothesized Mean Difference to zero. At last, you should Review the results in order to decide if you find a significant difference between the means.
